Wow, what a great week it was for couponing! I’m so excited about all the deals I got this week.
From the drug stores I stocked up on some more lip balm, laundry detergent and water. At Target, hand soap and the previous week I stocked up on batteries from Staples.
I only show my posts to the drug stores, but you should really check out the deals you can get at Target. I was able to get Dial hand soap for $0.66 cents a bottle along with Clean & Clear face products and Aveeno lotion on gift card deals. I’ve been doing a lot of the gift card deals and right now I have $35 in Target gift cards. I’m going to try to keep them until the end of the year to see how many I can get and use them for Christmas shopping, but I’m not sure if I will have the willpower to do.
When we had our annual cookie exchange holiday party last month, some of my stock got depleted from our family and friends. But it is great to be able to share with them! It’s funny because whenever someone comes over they always go home with a goodie bag and if we have overnight guests they get full size items to use if they forget something and can take them home afterwards.
This is the Rite Aid trip I did this last week. Since I used up all my UP’s mid last month and haven’t really seen anything I needed I haven’t been by in a while. Also, I was out on vacation and I don’t really like to go to the Rite Aid by my house unless it’s a really good deal or I forgot my UP’s are about to expire and have no choice. I’m glad I went back to work this week so I could pick up these deals.

It may seem like a spent a lot, but remember your first trip is always more and then as you roll your rewards (UP’s, ECB’s or RR’s) into other items the following weeks that also offer rewards, then your costs go down.
If you haven’t started couponing yet, I hope you do. I know it’s not for everyone, but I just love it! I just can’t believe all the items you can get for free or really cheap.
