I can’t believe how much some of these items cost at regular price. The Secret Clinical Strength deodorant showed regular price at $9.99. Seriously? Who would ever really ever pay that much?

I did also have a rebate from Secret, when you purchase 4 you mail in to get 1 free. So waiting for that one to come in! What a deal!

So that’s what I stocked up on in the past few months.  June updates to come.

Has it been that long?

Wow, I can’t believe January was the last time I posted.  Time really does fly.

I really haven’t been doing anything besides work and daily living so I’m not really sure why I haven’t kept up with this.  I always think about it and then just get caught up doing other things.

I was without a computer for a few weeks.  My HP G60-125NR laptop that I had, just went bonkers one day.  I had issues with it pretty much from when I purchased it.  It would get so hot to the touch, you definitely couldn’t hold it on your lap and use, working on just the battery was terrible, it wouldn’t last very long and the battery died after almost a year.  After that the charger died, it was slow to start, slow to do anything and I would not recommend it to anyone!

It was so bad, that I didn’t even want a Windows-based computer anymore, so I went with a MacBook Air.  I love all my other Apple products so it just felt like the next way to go.  So far so good.

A little bummed I didn’t wait, because I saw a new model was just released, I think yesterday or today for $100 less. I purchased mine almost a month ago, so no way to exchange it or to get a price adjustment.  As far as I know, you only have 14 days for returns.  I thought it was 30 days, but I think it’s pretty much the same for most electronics purchased anywhere.  I was able to get an education discount because my of my daughter, so that was a plus.  I ended up getting two laptops, the MacBook Pro for my daughter & the Air for me and our salesperson gave me the discount on both.  I thought it would only be on hers, but he said it was his gift to me.  Now, I think he may have known about the lower price point coming out.

Even though I have the “old” model, I still love it.  It starts in a flash (probably because of its flash storage, it has to be under 30 seconds), programs open fast, my battery lasts all day (depending on what I’m using it for), it charges fast, it makes no sounds.  I will let you know a year from now if it’s still going strong!

I’ve done quite a bit of coupon shopping trips in that time so I will try to post these past trips just to show all the great products you can stock up on by using coupons.  I just love looking back at all the deals I got and I love seeing the deals everyone else gets.  I think even if I won the lottery I would still coupon.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day!
